Camping Adventures
A Winnebago Itasca Navion iQ 24G came into our lives soon after
we sold the Scotty HiLander Trailer.
In April  we took our maiden trip to
North Carolina.  We spent 2 weeks on the
road and camped in WV, NC, VA and PA
before coming home.
We joined the national, state, and local Winnebago groups.  We camped for a few weekends with the
WNY Winnies and we attended the 5 day NYS Winnebago Rally at Herkimer NY.

In May, we attended the ASC Dog Show at Chemung Fairgrounds in Horseheads NY with a family member and her
show dogs.  The temperature reached 100 degrees F.  We had lots of fun and the show dogs won many ribbons.
Throughout the summer, we enjoyed various NYS Campgrounds.
The State Rally was the first time that we
used a solar reflector off the awning.
We traded in the Navion (to the right in the photo) for a
Winnebago Jouney 36G (in the center of the photo).
Camp set up at the
Flora and Murdo sleep by
the fan to keep cool.
The electronic awning provides
shade from the heat.
